Here is the cover I have done for the Sherm & Doug comics.

I love absurd humor, which led me to thinking about a couple of guys in space, who see the whole experience as something completely mundane and banal. Even after crashing on a deserted planet.

Ah! The good old summertime! This is the first page of a true story that happened to a bunch of bored boys in a small town one summer afternoon.

In trying to think of the most dramatic way to depict a gigantic airship, I thought about such a ship blotting out the sun as it flew over. From that point it became a techinical exercise to see if I could capture that sense of light being blocked by an object. Digital

These are sketches I did in preparation for a contest entry. I didn’t win, but the experience was both fun and enlightening.

As a kid, my favorite thing about family vacations was having a swimming pool at the motel. I happened to lookdown from my balcony while on vacation and saw the pool in a very different light. To me it became alomost unbearably lonesome, an outspost that no one treks to.
