Centurian
I was thinking about the crucifixtion and it occured to me that it would be really cool to have spoken with the centurian who witnessed the whole thing and get his thoughts about it. I imagine it would have been something that he would have had to get away and digest for awhile. I made no attempt to make this historically accurate, so he might not look very realistic to anyone enjoying Roman history.
Anime Elvis
I was reminiscing the other day about all these old Japanese cartoons I used to watch, Go Nagai giant robot type stuff. So I decided to do a sketch that would capture the crazy look of those characters. The More I worked on it the more it seemed to look like Elvis, so I just went with it!
Beautifully Tooled
An add I created for a pole company. I tried to spice it up by having the text mirror the turned shape of the pole, in order to keep the symmetry.
The Message
Another photo here in Greene county Tennessee. I can’t help thinking of that these beams of light are a warning or perhaps an admonishment?
Underground City
I took this photo at the Davey Crockett Birthplace state park. I used to go there fairly often, but haven’t been in awhile. On looking at it, you may think I turned it upside down, but it is oriented correctly.
new additions
I made a few additions to the comics page, so check ‘em out!
No commentslittle secret
This is something a little darker. It came to me as I was thinking about the secrets people keep and how often those secrets destroy us from the inside out, like a cluster of rotting fruit. I intentionally keep the contents of the box a secret because it is superfluous, our own attitudes about our hangups are for more destructive than the hangups themselves.
